GSB-88 - Vance Brothers

101st Avenue Court

This seal coat is often used on residential roads in Greeley as part of our regular maintenance program. Rejuvenates penetrate the top layer of an existing asphalt structure and replenish oils that have been lost due to weather and oxidization. After the excess water has evaporated out of the emulsion, sand is applied as a blotting agent. A typical rejuvenate will extend the life of a pavement by 3-7 years.

Vance Brothers applied this rejuvenate in July of 2016, the first section completed. The road was closed for 3 hours before sand was applied, and traffic was reintroduced. The Northern half of the Promontory subdivision saw an extensive GSB-88 program during 2014 and 2015.
